Roadmaster Brake Systems

Even Brake and InvisiBrake

Roadmaster makes two top braking systems: the Even Brake, a portable proportional unit you set on the floor and move between vehicles, and the InvisiBrake, a permanent system that installs once and stays hidden in your towed car. Both brake in step with your motorhome -- safe and easy. We are an authorized Roadmaster dealer.

Roadmaster Brake Systems -- FAQ

What braking systems does Roadmaster make?
Two leading systems: the Even Brake, a portable proportional unit, and the InvisiBrake, a permanent hidden system. Both apply your towed vehicle's brakes in step with the motorhome for safe, controlled stops.
What is the difference between Even Brake and InvisiBrake?
The Even Brake is portable -- you set it on the floor and can move it between vehicles. The InvisiBrake installs once and stays hidden in the car, braking automatically with nothing to set up each trip. Both stop you just as safely.
What does "proportional" braking mean?
A proportional brake senses how hard your motorhome is braking and applies the towed vehicle's brakes to match -- gentle for a light slowdown, firmer for a hard stop. The result is smoother, more natural stops and less wear.
Will a Roadmaster brake work with my flat tow setup?
Yes. Both systems work with any flat-tow setup, no matter which tow bar or baseplate brand you run. Tell us your towed vehicle and we will confirm the right system and any parts you need.
Are you an authorized Roadmaster dealer, and how fast do you ship?
Yes, we are an authorized Roadmaster dealer. We ship across the United States and Canada, most orders leave within one business day, and orders over $100 ship free to the lower 48 states.
