What is a permanent braking system?
A permanent system installs in your towed vehicle once and stays hidden inside it. It senses when you brake the motorhome and applies the towed car's brakes automatically, so there is nothing to position or plug in each time you hook up.
Permanent or portable -- which should I choose?
Choose permanent if you tow the same vehicle regularly and want it ready every time with nothing to set up. Choose portable if you swap between vehicles or want to move the brake from car to car. Both stop you just as safely.
Will a permanent system work on my towed vehicle?
Most flat-towable cars and trucks can take one. The right unit depends on whether your motorhome has hydraulic or air brakes. Tell us your motorhome and towed vehicle and we will confirm the correct system before you buy.
Which permanent systems do you carry?
