What is the difference between a pin and a lock?
A pin or clip holds a connection together -- for example, the tow bar arms or the bar-to-baseplate joint. A locking pin or padlock does the same job but adds a key, so the connection cannot be removed without it. Many owners use pins where it is just about holding things and locks where theft is a concern.
Do I really need locks and pins?

Are the locks keyed alike?
