This is the vehicle-specific mounting kit. It bolts to the chassis of this Fusion. The tow bar has to match the

on this page: Direct-Connect (Nighthawk, Sterling, Falcon All Terrain, and the current DC bars).

The bar arms latch to the plate. There is no quick-disconnect crossbar on the car. Kit 910021-00 is the Crossbar family, not this page.
Some Direct-Connect plates have removable receivers. Not all of them do. Do not read "Direct-Connect" as "tabs come off." Crossbar is the other family: a quick-disconnect crossbar on the car, built as removable tabs or as Classic. Classic is never removable.
Every vehicle gets one Roadmaster recipe. You do not pick the receiver style off a menu on this page. If you already own a Crossbar bar, this is the wrong family unless you are changing bars. That is the phone number next to the logo.

Does Direct-Connect mean the arms come off?
No. Some DC plates have removable receivers. Not all. Call and we will say which this Fusion uses.
