TOWING MADE SAFE AND EASY

Q: What do I need to tow my vehicle behind my motorhome?

A: The first thing that you should be checking before you move forward, is to make sure that your vehicle is towable.

The Custom Baseplate For Your Vehicle

This step is really easy since there are vehicle specific baseplates, only one baseplate will fit the vehicle you want to tow. Our fit guide will make this very easy.

    The Tow Bar

You’ll need the tow bar you choose to fit the gross vehicle weight of your vehicle. Sometimes it is better to go with a stronger tow bar in case of a newer heavier vehicle in the future.

      The Accessory Kit

You need an accessory kit (matched to the tow bar).
With your towed vehicle 7-6 heavy duty cable, wiring kit,
keyed alike locks and tow bar cover completes the package.

        Important For Safety Reasons
A brake is separate and is NOT included in the tow package.

        The Hi Lo Receiver
These drop receivers have a solid steel shank that can be turned up or down for high-low ground clearance. The height of the motorhome receiver, and the front arms of the towed vehicle must be within 3" to maintain maximum strength.

          Here Is How It Works!

          Custom Baseplate

There are about 3,500 faceplates in the marketplace. Each vehicle has its own specific baseplate. All you have to do is just look up your vehicle base plate then it will show the corresponding baseplate that will fit your vehicle. Roadmaster is the only exception, they show 2 baseplates per vehicle.

(GVWR) takes into account the base curb weight of the vehicle plus the weight of any optional accessories.Tow bars come in motorhome mounted, or vehicle mounted. Our recommendation is to go with the motorhome mounted tow bar, for ease-of-use and strength. You'll be set for years with Safe & Easy hook up and unhooking.

                  Supplemental Brake

Q: You might ask, do I need a brake?

A: The answer is yes. Many large rigs today tow a vehicle and you wouldn't feel the difference, but the stopping of your vehicle adds (without a brake) up to about 150 feet to the stopping distance. regardless of what you're pulling the vehicle with.
